Privacy Policy

EasyGiftly is a gift-finding project that is still being built. Right now, this website is a pre-launch preview and an early-access waitlist.

We only collect a small amount of information from people who choose to join the waitlist.

When you join the waitlist, EasyGiftly may collect:

• Your email address
• Optional answers to our waitlist questions, such as who is hardest for you to shop for and what makes gift shopping difficult
• The date and time you signed up
• A record of your consent (when you agreed and which version of the wording you saw)
• Referral information and campaign (UTM) information, such as which website or social post brought you here
• Basic technical and security information used to prevent spam, abuse or unauthorized access

We may use this information to:

• Manage the EasyGiftly early-access waitlist
• Let you know about beta access and when EasyGiftly launches
• Understand what people struggle with when buying gifts
• Improve and plan the future EasyGiftly product
• Measure which campaigns or social posts brought visitors to the waitlist
• Protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

EasyGiftly does not currently provide live gift recommendations. Your waitlist information is not used to generate recommendations at this stage.

EasyGiftly does not currently sell anything, take payments, offer customer accounts, or send automated marketing emails. We do not use advertising pixels or advertising cookies.

Joining the waitlist is voluntary. By joining, you agree to receive EasyGiftly launch, beta and early-access emails, and closely related waitlist updates. We will not use your email for unrelated advertising.

You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time.

We keep a record of when and how you gave consent so we can show that it was received.

EasyGiftly does not sell personal information.

Your information may be processed by service providers that help us run and secure the website. The site currently uses Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase infrastructure) for hosting, database and backend functionality.

These providers process data only to provide their services to us. We do not give them waitlist emails to market to you themselves.

Our service providers may process or store personal information outside your province or country. When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the waitlist, early-access invitations, launch communications, and legal or security requirements.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. The waitlist database is not publicly readable, and admin access is restricted.

No website can be perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never happen. If a privacy or security incident occurs, we will respond as required by applicable law.

• Request deletion, where applicable
• Withdraw consent to future communications

EasyGiftly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We may update this policy as EasyGiftly develops. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
